Even with FPUC, UI is not a living wage

When the FPUC expires over 26 million people will have just their state unemployment payment. This is all they will have to live off of and feed their families.

 

The MAXIMUM (which many people aren't receiving) state unemployment benefit is not equal to the living wage in a single US State.  

 

Most people are not even receiving that maximum.

 

Search below for a state.  See the average UI amount each state is paying out compared to the living wage in that state.

 You can also see the amount of people who are unemployed that will be required to try to live off of that amount.
